International Breed Health Collaboration
Members will be interested to know that the Club ( through the Committee member responsible for Breed Health – Lisa Dixon) recently participated in the first meeting of a proposed ETT/MT/ TMT international breed health group. Other participants included the individuals with responsibility for breed health in the American Manchester Terrier Club (Michelle Barlak), the British Manchester Terrier Club ( Estella Saxton) and the Canadian Manchester Terrier Club (Amanda Kelly)
It was an opportunity for the health ‘leads’ to share information about health challenges facing the breed and potential projects focussing on breed health issues. They have already identified a few areas for future collaboration, and will be meeting online every quarter to take these ideas forward. Updates will be posted on the Club Website and Facebook pages after every meeting
